Freelance Web Production.

Technical Illustrator/writer. Applied Materials. Austin, Tx. Isometric drawings of manufacturing assembly procedures using CorelDRAW 5.0, 6.0, 7.0 , AutoCAD r13, and Photoshop 3.0. Drawing were produced from actual parts and from sketches made on assembly floor. Illustrations were used to train assemblers. Tech-edited training manual for Computer Aided Assembly software and beta-tested software, proprietary to Applied Materials.When drawing new tools, often wrote assembly procedures to accompany illustrations. Contract positions 12/95 to 7/96 and 6/97 to 9/97.

Managed day-to-day operations of local training and technical courseware company (a Microsoft Technical Education Center, and Corel Authorized Training Center). Produced collateral sales literature (using CorelDRAW) and training manuals (using Word 6.0). Edited beginning and advanced training manuals on CorelDRAW 5.0 and 6.0. Wrote introductory training manual on Corel 5.0 Companion Applications (SHOW, CHART, PHOTO-PAINT and MOVE). Used Microsoft Project to aid in organizing trade shows.
